REVIEW: No, you didn't read my stars wrong, I've only given Smile (the infamous 'lost' Beach Boys album) three out of five. Before the flames begin, I will explain. Listening to Smile, either on the 30 minutes of out-takes on the Good Vibrations box set, or on the numerous bootleg copies floating around is like trying to enjoy a jigsaw puzzle with half of the pieces missing.

Lost & Found (–62) is a Beach Boys compilation album which was released in under DCC Compact Classics record company. The album contains all of the early recordings of the band before they were signed to their first major record label, Capitol Records.

Apr 13,  · The issue which has the group photo on the front is, as far as I know, is the same except that it's missing four "studio chatter" tracks.) Before The Beach Boys signed with Capitol Records in , they recorded for producer Hite Morgan, and this CD is a document of that formative period of the group.

Jul 17,  · Intrigued, I bought the CD and am glad I did - sounds great! My question is, is this an official DCC clone, an unofficial one or nothing to do with you at all! The CD is entitled "The Beach Boys Studio Sessions ''62" and is on the "nmc music" label. It is "copyright Burning Airlines" and the catalogue number is "PILOT 62".

The Beach Boys Lost and Found: Studio Chatter 4. Surfin' [#] (Love, Wilson) Although Beach Boys Carl and Dennis Wilson contribute studio help on the instrumental tracks, the songs themselves are rare for good reason: they're entirely forgettable.
