After 7 years running away from everything except from himself, Moz comes back with vitality, strength and sarcasm on this masterpiece. He talks about everything, from politics and racism (America Is Not The World, Irish Blood, English Heart) to religion (I Have Forgiven Jesus) and friendship (First Of The Gang To Die) but he focus on what he does best - losses, heartbreak and regret.

You Are The Quarry marks his first new album since 's Maladjusted, often lumped alongside 's Southpaw Grammar as the moment the milk curdled. Not so. Morrissey, like Madonna (both star attractions in a municipal zoo, alternately praised then pelted with loose change), has never veered far from a core manifesto/5().

You Are The Quarry CD music This is one of my favorite CDs of recent years. Theres truly not a bad song on it. His political views are insightful, and he tells it like it is. Songs like "I Have Forgiven You, Jesus" make you think in terms you may not have thought before.

Jul 12,  · The CD#1 single of I Have Forgiven Jesus states that Jesse played guitar on its b-side (No One Can Hold a Candle to You). For some reason, my CD#2 which contains the b-sides Slum Mums and Public Image, features no information regarding the players/band lineup for those two songs.
