Never got into the Sex Pistols. I remember going to the Reading Festival in 77 and the opening song played was Anarchy in the UK I believe. Have got an Alexa and played the album. Did not like all the songs but enjoyed several of them so decided to buy the album and have it /5(1K).

With the exception of ‘Anarchy in the UK’ – which features Matlock – bass duties were supplied by Steve Jones. The album’s working title was ‘God Save The Sex Pistols’ but changed to the far superior ‘Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols’. A catchphrase coined through Steve Jones.

May 29,  · Has anyone compared the sound quality of the new g Rhino "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" head-to-head with to the UK 30th Anniversary Virgin version? They are both still available, and even though the Virgin pressing is twice as much, which is the winner and how do they compare to the original UK & US versions?

Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols is the only studio album by English punk rock group Sex Pistols, released on 28 October by Virgin Records.. At the time of its release, the band was already extremely controversial, having sworn on live TV, been fired from two record labels and been banned from playing live in most parts of England.
